Thank you to Melinda Spaulding and the Fox 26 news team for the nice recognition of our Herrera Broadcast Team! Our Herrera Broadcast Team works hard everyday to provide the campus with a fun and interesting daily live morning broadcast. They delivery campus news, weather reports, cafeteria menu, student recognitions, etc...and even get me dancing on Thursdays.
Parents are more than welcome to join us at Herrera every morning in the library to view the program. The starting time for the broadcast is at 7:55 and runs approx until 8:10. Many students throughout the year will have opportunities to be on the broadcast reports and/or become members of the team.
If you missed the story, Mrs. Spaulding said it should be posted shortly on the FOX 26 website. Their website is: www.myfoxhouston.com and the story was called the "Worth Your Time" story.
